The outpouring of support, recognition, and love we’ve received for Teacher Appreciation Week has been overwhelming. While we all chose this profession because we’re passionate about kids and education, and not for any recognition, it sure feels great to know that so many people care. We appreciate our students, families, and fellow GCSD colleagues, and thank you for all the love this week.

There’s one more way you can support teachers, and it’s happening next week.

The Greece Board of Education election is as important as it’s been since many of us started in Greece years ago. The Greece Teachers, along with Greece Administrators and Supervisors, and Greece Central Education Professionals, have all officially endorsed three candidates that we, as educators who care about GCSD and its students enough to dedicate our careers to them, know are the best choices to move our district forward.
